decisions, decisions ...

So ... which shall it be? Concert pianist or Olympian swimmer? Our little Miss Dub is amazingly adept at both. What a magical week it has been. But ...

Sigh. She and her mommie are (hopefully) boarding a plane as we speak. On Monday, we too will board a plane to the Great Northwest for the week. Word has it that the temperatures actually dip below 110 there. My sweaters are ready and eager to go.

But, before we go ... just two questions:

Did you actually put your lips to the computer screen? C'mon ... tell the truth.
And ... do you know of any good quilt stores in the downtown Seattle area?

Spending time with the Dubs was fab as always !I will have you know that I applied as much pressure as a disgruntled teamster to get 'em to move out here! I love that little Miss and her medium sized Mom!

trust me, i felt the pressure to move there, and i didn't mind it.

thanks for hosting us, and loving us, despite our body odor and bedhead.

Couldn't tell if I was kissing Miss Dub or you, since I'm pretty sure that stuff on the computer screen was from your adoring smooches. But I love you both so it was okay. It was a joy to have her here.

I'll help get you to Seattle, but then you're on your own as far as finding a quilt store. Though it looks like Undercover Quilts is the prime downtown deal, with Running Stitch Studio and The Quilt Loft in more distant Seattle locales. Stitches is a fabric, yarn, and sewing store with classes in the First Hill area within about 10 blocks. Might be the Bernina Connection of Seattle.
