Note to Self:

So ... the quilt (top)s are done. Except for the sandwiching, quilting and binding, but seriously ... after all this time ... who is even counting. I am very pleased with both of them and I really had fun making them.

But ...

I would not recommend doing two quilts at the same time. Just one quilt at a time.

One.

If you beg to differ with me ... please don't beg ... just state your case.

And tell me which one is your favorite.

They are both beautiful, but I'm going to choose the one with red in it as my favorite, because, well, red is one of my favorite colors! I think they are both very pretty though!

I'm making two quilts right now, but they are both in the same color scheme... matching quilts for my girls' beds.

(And I guess I'm not making them right now, actually, because I haven't been at the sewing machine since mid-May. Too many other things to do in the summer... sigh... I guess quilting is a winter thing for me!

Okay...I need to reword this...I love them both...but love the first one best since I know the fabrics better. I really love the dark center posts on the second quilt...makes everything stand out! It is a lot of work to make two at once, but at least now you have two finishes!

Both. That's my favorite ~ both. I love how different they are ~ the neutral quilt is quite elegant, especially with the dark brown inner border. Good job ~ and see, you proved it was possible to make two quilts at the same time! Everyone should do it!

HI Mary! Well they are both lovely. I suppose I like the one with more color a bit more. But I like the tweedy texture of both of them. They remind me of wool tweed.
