So ... I'm home. And, truth be told, I'm a homebody. I am happy to sleep in my own bed and stumble into my own bathroom at 3 in the morning and eat my own cereal out of my own cereal bowls. Heck, I feel this way after coming home from a week at the beach.
I just like my home.
But this time it was a tad more bittersweet. 'Cause I had to leave these guys behind ...
... and that just isn't fair.

I wouldnt want to leave them either..... glad to have you back!
i miss my dubs.
Love you my friend.....
I would have a hard time leaving them too!!! I love them and I love you!!
glad to hear that you're home all safe and sound... now, hopefully i'll see the dubs soon!
wow! who knew people liked us this much?
we miss you lots, too, although i'm happy that you have given up our couch for a real bed.
oh, and i hear the weather is slightly better where you are ... just slightly.
Seems to me the perfect solution would have been for you to have just brought the Dubs home with you. They wouldn't even have had to sleep on the couch, and no one would have had to worry about the cold weather. In any event, no one is happier you're home than I!!! As for the Dubs, my new motto for them is Cubs in the Central this Summer, Dubs in the West by next Winter.
I'm with you...every school break I have friends who travel all over with their kids...give me a day with no alarm or lunch to be made, a lazy scrambled egg picnic in the sunny livingroom like we did this morning, and a free afternoon and I'm a happy camper!
Enjoy being home with your loved ones!

I know what you mean -- I'm always happy to be home, too. Sounds like you had a great time, though, and your little guy is SO cute!
